Privacy Statement

It is the policy of John Mullen & Company, Inc. to respect and protect the privacy of our clients and the users of www.johnmullen.com (hereinafter, the "Site").  Through this Privacy Statement, we want to reassure users of the Site that we will not sell, share, or rent user information to others in a manner different than as set forth in this Internet Privacy Statement.
John Mullen & Company, Inc. collects and/or requests information when a user:

  • Contacts us using an online form
  • Submits an e-mail for any reason
  • Prints and completes any form data (which is returned via fax or mail)

We use this information for such purposes as responding to your requests, improving our site, and communicating with you via email, regular mail, or phone. As such, the collected information may contain personally identifiable information ("PII"), such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number.

Our Site has a claims reporting portal. This portal does collect PII data. All of the PII data goes directly to our Intake Unit for Claims Management services. This data is not used or shared for any marketing purposes.

We may disclose PII if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on John Mullen & Company, Inc. or its parent company, subsidiaries or affiliates, (2) protect and defend the rights or property of John Mullen & Company, Inc. or the users of the Site, or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of the Site.

Automatic Collection. We also collect anonymous information from and about users automatically as they navigate through our Site. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, information about your internet connection and the equipment you use to access our Site, and information collected through cookies[, web beacons,] [and other tracking technologies.
We use this anonymous information to analyze our Site traffic, but we do not examine this information for individually identifying information. In addition, we may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our site, or to display the content according to your preferences. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and technological service providers on an aggregate and anonymous basis.
Our Site also contains links to external Internet sites which may be operated by an external party and they may have privacy practices that differ from those here at www.johnmullen.com.  When you click on links that take you to such external sites, you will be subject to their privacy policies, and we encourage you to become familiar with that party's privacy policies as these may differ from those utilized on our Site.  Please note that this privacy statement applies solely to information collected by John Mullen & Company, Inc. on our Site and, while we strongly support the protection of privacy on the Internet, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other Websites, uses of the information collected by other Websites, or the content of those other Websites.

Children Under the Age of 13. Use of the Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect PII from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Site or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. If we learn we have collected or received PII from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Your California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of PII to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
